About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Sitting pretty back home, longing to be on the next trip.

...And hopefully I'll see the day where I can spin a globe, point randomly.. And go there.

ABOUT ME

There's way too much to put it all here.
Major foodie, lover of music and dance, hopeful [world] nomad. Adventurer at heart. I always feel like there's not enough time to do all the things I'd like to do.
Recently certified in massage therapy. Because, why not?

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a productive member of society, I owe no debts, and I detriment no one...
I don't see why I can't do whatever the hell I want :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to share contacts and recommend places. I always enjoy meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, being a part of this project has paid off- I've met some awesome folks, laughed endlessly, trusted and been trusted... And let's not forget sharing awesome sights and experiences with others. It's a big step, but as long as you are aware and prepared, CS opens a doorway to amazing worldwide adventures. :)

Interests

If it has anything to do with music and food, I'm most likely into it :p

  • dancing
  • dining
  • cooking
  • massage therapy
  • traveling
  • music
  • backpacking
  • adventure races
  • scuba diving

Music, Movies, and Books

1) All sorts of music- I'm an addict. You'll probably find me day-to-day, though, listening mostly to salsa, middle eastern, and electronica. I'm always happy to accept new music from all over :D
2) Not a huge TV fan. I'm the type who will read a movie plot on Wikipedia before I watch it, because as far as I'm concerned, if it's good, it won't matter if I already know the plot.
3) Books? Stephen King's old stuff, Anne Rice's old stuff, various self-help and random reference books like astrology (to a point) or bartending books.
I honestly have not had time for much reading recently- I've been out and about too much!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Packed up my life and moved to a country I’d never even visited, and lived/worked there for over a year... I can also say I've climbed (yes, climbed the THOUSANDS of stairs up!)Machu Picchu (and Huayna Picchu), explored different cities in South America and Europe, rolled around on sand dunes in my first desert, gotten my scuba certification, experienced zip-lining.... Maybe nothing too spectacular for the versed backpacker, but I've found it quite fulfilling:)

Teach, Learn, Share

Have some structure, but leave some room for flexibility and spontaneity... Some of the best times of our lives are not the result of careful planning.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My awesome cooking and all around pleasant company... and probably some hilarious drinking stories :p

Bahamas, Canada, England, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Panama, San Marino, Spain, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, Vatican City State
