Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Going on a round-the-world travel, I'm looking for a safe heaven to rest while getting to know new cultures, new places, myself and most importantly; people.

Interests

-Music is a passion and hobby. Although I'm more of a rock (blues and jazz included) music person, who also listens to Samba, Bossa Nova and MPB (Brazilian genres), I like to think of myself as open minded towards other kinds of music.
-Name a thing that doesn't go well with beer! (Other than driving and heavy machinery.)
-I love discussing sciences, religion, politics, sports, people, ideas. Learning with people and from people is better than learning from books (one must read, though!).
-I like playing team sports, and I sure am very competitive, being Handball a passion since elementary school.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing experiences were:
-I've organized parties for more than 8k people.
-Had two bands and performed on stage, the feeling is awesome.
-Was a semi-pro swimmer at age 14.
-Helped a wasted guy from being burned alive.
-Left everyone and everything behind to travel the world (my friends are always with me, though).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not my toothbrush, that's for sure.
