About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be a good architect, one cannot understand buildings without making the effort to understand people.
ABOUT ME
In Brief: I'm generally super curious about everything, I study architecture in Montreal, I spent a year volunteering across Canada, I'm from Kelowna, BC, Canada.
Longer: I want to make buildings, call it a childhood love of lego all grown up. I came to this decision through a rather unexpected conversation with an elderly woman on a train travelling from Woodstock to Ottawa.
That encounter occured in the middle of a Candian volunteer program I was participating in called Katimavik and the experiences of that program have given me a strong desire to get more acquainted with the other people who live in this world! I'll be
I had lived in BC my whole life until September 5th 2007. I love a good conversation and I'll talk about anything; I enjoy meeting new people, seeing new places, trying new things; also reading, philosophy, drawing, snowboarding, and playing some jazz on my guitar are ways I like to spend my time.
PHILOSOPHY
Expectation is everything, all else follows.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Amazing really, you meet the best sort of people through this service. The best part of it is you get to become a visitor rather than a tourist.
Interests
These days principally architecture and observing emerging trends in internet culture and how they are impacting real life.
I enjoy meeting new people, seeing new places, trying new things; also reading, philosophy, drawing, snowboarding, and playing some jazz on my guitar with my old quartet. I'm also interested in history and current events, learning other languages, photography, and going for coffee at any sort of independent coffee house. Primary interest these days is ARCHITECTURE.

Music, Movies, and Books
Don't play as much music these days, but I follow hipster music. I pick out random literature or philosphy from second hand book stores. Among may favourite movies are Metropolis (german and japanese), stuff by David Cronenburg, artsy crap. Animator Don Hertzfeldt is an inspiration.
