I'm Couchsurfing because I think it's one of the best ways to become immersed in a culture and get the most authentic experience. If I only have a few days to spend in a city, I would rather spend it getting to know people who are knowledgeable about the area and can give recommendations, as well as provide good company. Also, I love being able to exchange stories and hearing about other people's life experiences.
