About Me

Hey there, amazing folks!

I'm Caio, I’m 29 years old and I’m Brazilian! I was living in Nyc last year.

Life is an incredible adventure, and I'm the kind of enthusiast who's always on the hunt for thrills, new horizons, and heartwarming connections with the world and its diverse inhabitants. Every journey I embark on is a chance to lose myself in uncharted territories and discover my true self within different cultures.

My love for travel was sparked by the belief that real wisdom isn't confined to textbooks. It's out there in the world, waiting to be uncovered. As I dive headfirst into various environments and cultures, I'm constantly reminded that learning knows no bounds. Each person I meet and every place I explore imparts valuable lessons about life, humanity, and the beauty of diversity.

But there's more to it than that; travel is my secret recipe for self-discovery. Leaving my comfort zone behind forces me to tackle challenges, adapt to new surroundings, and broaden my horizons. With every adventure, I seize the opportunity for personal growth and self-unveiling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

"I'm on Couchsurfing because, well, I'm a 29-year-old Brazilian who spent the past year in New York. I've got this unquenchable thirst for unique adventures, making new buddies, and really figuring out who I am. Couchsurfing? It's like my secret sauce for diving headfirst into different cultures, viewpoints, and places, way beyond your typical travel.

Here, I get to hang out with hosts and fellow travelers who share my love for swapping stories and life experiences. It's all about exploring the world in the realest way, making friends from all over, and pushing my boundaries. Every time I crash somewhere new, it's like opening a door to the unknown, helping me grow, broadening my worldview, and, most of all, discovering myself in this wild mix of perspectives and cool cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"I lived in New York City by myself last year, and it was an unbelievable experience for me. Sometimes, I try to think about how this experience changed me, and I don't have enough words to answer that. But I can say that I'm a whole different person after that. This experience made me grow up a lot, become more responsible, independent, and gave me a strong sense of community.

I also had the opportunity to get to know Washington, D.C., and that city is truly incredible. It was a very special moment in my life.

I met a lot of people who became friends for life, and I also lived one of my dreams."
