About Me

Hi world,

My name is Caio, you pronounciate it like american kyle. I am still studying for my bachelor in Industrial engineering here in my hometown Joinville, in Brazil. Joinville is a really simple and industrial city, that is one of the reasons why I want to know better the world around me.
I am a really easy going guy, I like to keep things simple, and talk about me only when asked (like in this section haha). On my free time, I like to read a lot (game of thrones FTW), play videogames (it's my dream to be an indie game developer <3) and draw.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be really direct here, my main goal is to get someone to help me with my future trip to japan, not necessarily being a host, because information is reaaaaally apreciated here! So if I am able to cut some costs (as I am currently on an internship, and thus, on a low budget) this site will already have helped me a lot, and if I even get to crash at a local place, this would be even more gratifying for me <3

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very open to music genres, but in the last few days I am listening a lot to lo-fi and chillstep/ jazz and such

About movies, My favorite movie is Cloud Atlas, I really like long movies with a lot of story in them, character develpment and plot twists, mainly sci-fy or fantasy movies though.

My favorite book so far is game of thrones, and I really hope that George R R Martins lives long enough to finish his masterpiece, because I am not watching the series to avoid spoilers (I know they are not exactly the same)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was accepted in a really big public exchange program by the brazilian government, So for about a year I lived in amsterdam and got to travel to a lot of european countries and meet a lot of amazing people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Mainly brazilian culture, maybe some videogame skills haha, I can also try to cook some of my cuisine

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
