CURRENT MISSION
"I solemnly swear that I'm up to no good." =P
ABOUT ME
Salutations! I'm Cairo Alexander Chandrakirana-Westenra. I fell in love with Bangkok when I was passing through in October 2011 and now have no intention of ever leaving.
I am torn between a very fit, healthy lifestyle and a highly sociable one of alcohol, debauchery and late nights! Laughter is a constant feature in my household, as is fashion, music and photography.
I constantly strive to evolve, improve myself and my horizons whether it be through fitness, self analysis, meeting new people or simply lying on the sofa and dreaming.
PHILOSOPHY
I dream of a world without prejudice, where people do not judge or frown at fellow men who are different; where people are open minded, kind, polite, respectful and where the words "hate" or "intolerance" do not exist, where harmony prevails.. a utopian paradise.
Sadly when i wake up the world looks a little different, so i try to fill my existence with the best, those who are colourful, who are open minded, who treat everyone as equals, who laugh easily and smile, who are positive, caring and honest, respectful of others and their relationships.
Whilst it might be raining outside, in my little world the sun is always shining, the beach is always inviting and the bar is never closed.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By distracting my guests with my charming, effervescent company and providing them with a comfortable, safe environment to reenergize before venturing out into the madness that is Bangkok.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not one to discriminate. My taste is very eclectic, I tend to gravitate towards psychological thrillers though (Identity, Hard Candy), black comedies (Death Becomes Her, Very Bad Things, Clue) and epic bollywood movies (Devdas, Ram Leela). The music I listen to reflect the colorful cultures I've been raised in, so be prepared to be serenaded by a schizophrenic range of tunes from the Indian, Middle Eastern, Indonesian cultures, with classics from every era all around the world, wedged in between.
