About Me

ABOUT ME

For now, I am living in Austin, Texas with my dog, Paolo. I have my PhD in Communication and a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Before starting my PhD program, I lived and taught English in Madrid, Spain. In my free time I am outside, competing and training in cycling, running, and swimming. I am easy to get along with and always up for a good adventure!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can.

If you must look back, do so forgivingly, if you must look forward do so prayerfully, however, the wisest thing you can do is be present in the present, gratefully. (Maya Angelou)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is a way for me to have raw, authentic travel experiences. We don’t have to do anything out of the ordinary for us to learn from one another, to connect with one another, and make the world a little bit better place.

Interests

Almost everything has an element of interest to me! I particularly love art, books, discussing cultural issues, and philosophy. I love a good glass of wine. Sports are an essential part of my life as well. I compete in triathlons and race as a competitive cyclist but enjoy all kinds of competitions and games!

99% of my social life is hanging out with my amazing dog, Paolo.
