Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this! I am going to be in Europe this summer though and would love to try my hand at it. I have heard such amazing things about Couchsurfing from other members and believe that it will be a great way to make new friends and see the world from others' eyes. When I get back to the states and get settled, I will be happy to open my couch up and return the favor.

Intereses

I am interested in natural forms of healing from massage to traditional Chinese medicine to crystals and energy medicine. I practice yoga regularly and believe that it is one of the best forms of preventative medicine out there. I love to cook nutritious and delicious vegetarian meals and I like to ride my bicycle.

Beyond that, I love words. I like to read them, I like to write them, and I like to manipulate them in different combinations in my head. I really enjoy learning languages. Though my concentration has been on French, I would like to branch out and learn the other languages of the world. I really enjoy listening to music and seeing it live as well, and am currently dabbling in the cello and the guitar.

Oh, and I love coffee. I can make a pretty awesome soy latte if I do say so myself.

Sea kayaking to an isolated beach in Costa Rica was so amazing. We were surrounded by the warm ocean waves and fine white sand with no other people in sight. Simply being immersed in something so vast as the ocean is enough to make you rethink your significance in this expansive universe

I know a little bit about yoga, alternative medicine, vegetarian food/nutrition, and energy medicine such as healing touch and Reiki. I am happy to teach you what I know and if I don't know about it, I would be happy to learn together!
