About Me
It's not the years that count, but what you've done with your years. That's why I'm here in Europe. I've been backpacking since midway through June and I settle down in Copenhagen at the start of September to embark on my next adventure; studying abroad. I've played hockey since I was 5, started playing piano at age 9, and began teaching myself guitar only a year ago. I always want to know more, see more, and experience more. I'm excited for the next 5 months in Europe so I can make memories and gain an appreciation for cultures, beliefs and attitudes far from my own, learning from those who know more than I do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hostel life is so great. You meet so many fellow travellers who are all wanting to gain and see as much as you are. However I really would love to gain cultural insight that one can't ascertain from hostels.

Music, Movies, and Books
My Spotify is constantly filled with alternative music, whether it be The Smiths, Alt J or small Melbourne bands. My favorite movie of all time is Moulin Rouge but do love Zero Dark Thirty and Inception. Ps no Game of Thrones new season spoilers thanks.
I'm a big fan of Australian writing such as Jasper Jones (Craig Silvey) and Melina Marchetta. Do love Inferno by Dan Brown also.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not necessarily amazing to others; I volunteered for a year at a youth led environmental organisation in Melbourne. It was one of the most eye opening things I have done so far. I met so many people with such passion and knowledge, and with such a belief that anyone can inspire change.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach the military/phonetic alphabet.
My biggest regret of high school is that when I moved school I didn't learn a new language. So wherever I go I try my hardest to learn as much of the language as I can. I would love to one day be fluent in either German, Spanish, French or Farsi.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm only 19 years old so I don't have a huge number of stories or life changing experiences to tell, however I can share my optimistic outlook on life and constant desire to better myself and others.
