About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to figure out how to put off getting a job and travel as much as possible

ABOUT ME

I am very outgoing and optimistic. I love being around people, and learning new languages. I also like festivals and live music, going hiking, hanging out at coffee shops and bars, playing with kids, etc. I'm very interested in politics, especially European politics and minority rights. I generally know what's going on in the world and I really like other people who do too.

PHILOSOPHY

You can never replace anyone because everyone is made of such beautiful specific details.
Trying to understand others is what makes life interesting. Even though its almost impossible to truly understand someone, I think that we all need to try, and that the connections you make with others are what is really important.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first Couchsurfing experience was in Freiburg, and I really can't say enough good things about. My host was great and we got along quite well. I have lots of friends that participate, both hosting and surfing, and I'm finding that I meet Couchsurfers wherever I go.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read. Don't watch television. I don't hate it, but I don't have one, and don't miss it at all. I really love outdoor music festivals of all kinds, but I especially like folk music and reggae music. Its the best feeling ever to be sitting outside on the grass drinking a nice beer and listening to a good band.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that each moment, in its own distinct way, is amazing, and its too hard to decide which specific moments are the "best". As long as I'm enjoying myself, I'm happy :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to read a Doctor's handwriting, a fair amount of German, how to smile pretty much all the time, and how to have a really good roadtrip. I want to learn anything you can teach me.
