Hello!

I decided to travel around the world this fall, I quit my job, and left Reno September 1st. I needed to get out and explore new cultures, meet new people, experience new things. A stagnant world is not one I like to live in. I love meeting new people and getting to know them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have most of my accommodations set up through out my time but I do have some holes to fill. I thought couch surfing would be a great idea because it stays within my budget but more importantly, it allows me to meet and experience true {insert country here} culture, wherever that may be.

Interests

I love writing, reading, and taking pictures! I have a travel blog I have started to keep all my experiences logged. I always have my camera in hand, taking pictures of almost everything I do. I also love to go out and experience different nightlife, eat good food, drink good beer. In the mornings I like to do yoga.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost all music but right now my favorite artists are Twenty One Pilots, Dillon Francis, and Matt Corby.
I don't watch a lot of movies but I like them.
I just finished Wild by Cheryl Strayed and I am in the market for a new book in my travels. Maybe something by Bill Bryson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think traveling around the world is a pretty amazing thing to do, and I am in the midst of that right now. Other than that, I have sky dived!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn more German, I know the very basics. I am picking up a lot from the host family that I am with right now. I would be willing to teach English if you need it. Or if you want to learn how to take pictures, learn American cuisine, or just sharing stories, I am always game to chat.
