I live with my husband and three cats in Rochester, MN. We're just a mile from Mayo Clinic and the downtown area. I love to knit, run outside, and listen to audiobooks and podcasts. I'm a sucker for Victorian novels. My husband loves Legos and tabletop roleplaying games, and is a part time library school student.

Movies: I watch more TV shows these days than movies. I've recently been rewatching The West Wing to go along with listening to The West Wing Weekly podcast, which is a real hoot.

Books: Memoirs and biographies, SF and fantasy, Victorian novels, historical fiction, cook books.

I knitted a very complicated lace shawl for my wedding. I had no idea how hard it would be as I'd only knitted a few simple lace projects before. Lack of fear was my asset. I plowed ahead and I did it.
