Hello! My name is Caitlin, and I'm an opera singer currently residing in Vancouver, BC while I study opera at the University of British Columbia. In my spare time I love reading and, in the past year or so, I practice types of social dancing like blues fusion and swing.

I'm a student, and on a student budget. I'm planning a trip across Europe to explore other cultures, practice my language skills, and eat lots of amazing food, which is only possible if I can find some lovely hosts to stay with. I'd love to share stories, meals, and adventures with my hosts!

兴趣

I'm and opera singer, so obviously I love classical music. My favorite opera right now is "Cosi fan tutte" by Mozart.
I also love blues fusion dancing, a type of partner dance, but I'm very interested in learning new dance styles such as waltz, tango, and any other local styles I can find.
Books are a huge part of my life.
Also, I love food. And coffee. Any and all kinds.

I got to sing the role of Paride in Gluck's Paride ed Elena with a local opera company in my hometown. Definitely one of my favorite performances to date!

Teach: I'd be happy to teach basic voice lessons, partner dancing, and introduce anyone to opera.
Learn: Language! I've studied a bit of Italian, French, and German, and I really want to learn more, though I love learning new things so I'm open to anything.
Share: I can share my love of classical music, good book recommendations, and act as an eager companion for seeing new sites and testing out good restaurants.
