Adventurous, love to travel, love to eat! Experiencing everything the world has to offer. It's my philosophy that if you're completely comfortable where you're at, you're not really living. Get out and explore!

I grew up in Southern California, but recently moved to the Pacific Northwest of the USA (Portland, to be exact). Exploring my new home is one of my favorite things to do. And beer, of course.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have only visited a few countries in my short life here on Planet Earth and am aspiring to add many more to my list. Part of exploring a new place is doing what the locals do—and that's where you guys come in! Have a favorite bar? What's the best "off the beaten path" thing to do where you live? I want to experience what you love best!

On that note, I hope to someday do the same for guests from around the world. Right now I'm not able to host guests, but in the future I want to pay the kindness forward. I'll even feed you!

Interests

I'm a writer/editor/photographer by trade, and a foodie at heart. My kitchen is my happy place, and I love cooking/baking for my friends, family and (future) guests. I'm learning videography as well, and hope to translate that into a multimedia career in the near future. Archery is also something I want to hone my skills in. Hiking, walking, exploring, and just about any kind of adventure is on the list too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list! However, I am a huge Muse fan and am just now getting into the more obscure rock bands of the 90s to now. It's awesome because I get to experience these albums for the first time like many people did when they were younger. I'm always down to catch a rock show, and you can be sure I'll be rocking out in the front. I enjoy documentaries, foreign films and movies that make you think. I just finished all of X-Files and am enjoying the new "season" so far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple of years ago I spent two weeks interacting with bullfighters turned breeders in the outskirts of Spain, documenting their passion for bulls and shedding some light on a very controversial topic. I love becoming immersed in other people's worlds; makes this life so much more interesting!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a great cook! I will gladly make us dinner if you wish as a thank-you for graciously sharing your space with a stranger. That and I like to think I have interesting stories to tell.
