I am a Dayton native, currently studying Hatha Yoga to get my teaching certification, and thoroughly enjoying my life here in the Midwest. Dayton has a small town feel, mixed with a touch of “city living”, and still maintains a strong community.

I am passionate about people and traveling to experience other cultures. My mission in life is to redefine what self-care truly means, specifically to women. I’m currently writing what will hopefully be my first published book (!!!) centered around assisting others in finding their purpose and voice through poetry and storytelling. Writing came in to my life at an early age, and I believe it is a powerful tool that we can use to build our society up and bridge the gap.

Music, Movies, and Books

While I do not really watch T.V., I love to read, and some of my favorite authors are: Elizabeth Gilbert, Tony Robbins, Susan Salzburg, Brene Brown, Agatha Christie and pretty much any piece of British Literature.

As far as music goes, I love classical music, Hozier, Christine and The Queens, Ray LaMontagne, Jason Mraz, and more spiritual artists like Jai Uttal and Krishna Das.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite experiences during travel was visiting an authentic Finnish sauna in Helsinki - complete with jumping into the Baltic Sea, which was 46 degrees! I love having authentic experiences and breaking away from the stereotypical tourist attractions.
