NOT hosting during COVID - sorry...
Waddup?! My now-fiancè (Daniel John - CS friend of mine) and I just got back from a year long backpacking adventure around Asia & Oceania. We absolutely loved our Couchsurfing and homestay experiences so now we’d like to give back to the community through hosting at our new home in Boulder, CO! We still travel a good bit so we may not be able to host as often as we’d like so sorry if your dates don’t work out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I couchsurf to meet people I might not otherwise know and to experience what life might be like if I'd been born elsewhere. I also love the outdoors and exploring different landscapes through the eyes of local residents and fellow travellers alike. If you’re looking for just a free place to crash - look elsewhere.
Interests
I have more hobbies and interests than I can count, but for the most part I'm a sailor, rock climber, scuba diver, kiteboarder, wakeboarder, snowboarder, yogi, painter, hiker, backpacker, and overall adventurer. That being said, I am ALWAYS up to try and learn something new!

Music, Movies, and Books
As generic as it sounds, I really do enjoy listening to all sorts of music whether it be oldies rock, classical, experimental, or a Cajun jam session at a back swamp bar. Music is another aspect to culture, and I am open to listening to any new, old, or local genres. As far as movies go, I'm a sucker for cheesy comedies. I typically read science fiction or travel books when not reading science textbooks.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Mapped the Marianas Trench (deepest trench in the world) while onboard the NOAA ship Okeanos Explorer (look up the deep sea video on YouTube cause that shit is dope) + trekked in Nepal + motorbiked around the frontier lands of Vietnam + kiteboarded the crystal blue waters of Turks + scuba dove with Mobular Rays + sunset over the Grand Canyon + kitesurfed with a pod of Bottlenosed Dolphins + witnessed a solar eclipse in totality + quit my job to travel
Teach, Learn, Share
Down for shared experiences with hiking, sailing, SCUBA diving, yoga, kiteboarding, wakeboarding, snowboarding (anything board sport really), snorkeling, rock climbing, mountain biking, or even a nice jog. Daniel and I also like to cook almost as much as we like to eat! :D
What I Can Share with Hosts
Although I travel lightly, I am willing to share whatever gear I may bring depending on activities; split ubers, gas, and whatnot for shared adventures, and of course, I welcome long chats of sharing stories and experiences with one another.
Countries I’ve Visited
