Interests

I am always on the go trying new things. My favorite thing in life is the beach, specifically scuba diving. After that, traveling and understanding how other people spend their time intrigues me immensely. What others do and how they live (anthropology) is something I have always loved. There are a great number of people out there, and I would love to know them all. Finally, I am in love with the scientific method. I am a researcher at heart with the strength of an adventurer. I love to push the limits of existence and attempt to understand the uniqueness of each and every human.

Music, Movies, and Books

GOOD music, movies, and books :) I have a wide variety of interests. Currently listening to a lot of electronic music, reading a lot of scientific journals, and watching comedy/horror movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing moments in my life was when I was alone on the dock on the Rio Napo in the Ecuadorian Amazon jungle. I looked up at the beautiful night sky, heard the jungle's amazing sounds, and smelled the cleanest air I have ever smelled. A boto dolphin (Inia geoffrensis) swam by the dock. The next day, I learned a Sequoian man was feeding the dolphin pod. He showed me how he would hold up a piece of fish and feed them... I was so awestruck by the fact that what I was seeing and doing had probably only been experienced by a handful of people. It was amazing. I was looking directly into the eyes of an ancient delphin, a species that is older than humans.. and connecting with it.
