Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the couchsurfing community. Out of all my experiences, I've yet to have a bad one with CS. It's always so nice to meet like minded travelers to share adventures/stories with, but I've made some amazing friends here as well. I adore hosting and showing people a different side of the city, and I look for that in a host when I'm out surfing. For me, this is not about a free place to stay, it's taking the time to meet people, learn new things and explore new places.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Some of my favorite music is when the artists mix old/traditional/ethnic beats with hip hop/electronic beats. ie: Onra. I also really enjoy Spanish language music like reggaeton, salsa, cumbia, etc.
Movies: Disney, comedy, action, documentary, drama, and foreign films
Books: "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind" Yuval Noah Harari. Usually really enjoy young adult books, think Roald Dahl, Of Mice and Men, The Great Gatsby, and The Giver.
