Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not used couch surfing in years as I make great use of Airbnb. However when I have the capacity to host couch surfers, I would like to continue doing so. I think this is a great idea and an awesome platform for meeting people from different cultures and parts of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experience so far has been of hosting, I have had 3 AWESOME guests, who have been great to talk to and get to know. I cannot wait to surf! I stayed on a couch twice during my travels in the USA

I am an IT nerd, attempting to do my Ph.D. whilst working full time in the IT software industry. I am a lover of food, cooking and eating, and an avid baker!

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE to read, give me a good book any day! I'm also a massive music fan, Mumford and Sons, Florence + the machine, Foo Fighters, The Beatles, Queen... Too many to name! I also enjoy a good movie be it Romcom, action, drama or an art film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing atop the castelo saint Angelo in Rome, listening to the song my boyfriend wrote me for my 21st birthday, for the first time and leaving SA for my first adventure overseas.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to make beautiful cakes, face paint, balloon sculpt really funky shapes and lastly how to plan a trip(I'm really good at researching)
