HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couchsurfed all over the US, a little bit in Argentina and Brazil, and have met the most amazing people ever. Each person stands out and inspires me. Everyone has something to share. And now that I finally have my own place, I'm happy to host travelers in Morocco! So far so great!

Update: Two years later, I've hosted over two dozen crazy surfers in my little Moroccan village! Now I'm packing up and heading out. Thanks everyone for visiting, and feel free to visit me in my future locations!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Morocco: I completely recommend going to Chefchaoun and spending at least two nights there. (I like pension castellano -- nice staff) See Ras el Ma, the river that run through the old medina; climb to the old mosque on the hill for sunset (trail starting by Ras el Ma); and catch a 25 dh taxi and do a day trip to the waterfalls of Akchours. 2 hours hiking each way. The taxis are near the gendarmerie, just ask around for the taxiat Akchour. Best to leave earlier in the day and avoid Sundays.
