ABOUT ME

I used to be a special education teacher, but after working 2 jobs on top of that one to pay bills, I decided I needed to go back to nannying and apply to grad schools to be a typical education teacher. I love children of all ages (infant to 18) and believe that a great education system can change the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I don't have a permanent residence because I am traveling for 6 months, but when I get back to New York, I would love to host couch surfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couch surfed before, but think it is a brilliant way for people of different cultures and backgrounds to get to know each other.

兴趣

I love to read, watch movies, hike, and hang out with friends. I am interested in different types of education around the world and would like to hear about different countries' takes on education.

I love anything by Kurt Vonnegut, Bel Canto, Empire Falls, anything by Isabel Allende. My favorite movie is The Royal Tenenbaums, I also love ET, Pretty Woman, and The Usual Suspects. I love Paul Simon, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, and Van Morrison.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My boyfriend and I just drove across the United States and saw the Grand Canyon. I have never seen a piece of landscape like that in my entire life. It is truly a place that has to be seen.
