Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couchsurfed once, to be really honest, but my experience was so positive that I decided this community was worth getting involved in. I had no idea what to expect from Couchsurfing, but I'm so glad I tried it. A friend and I went on holiday to the south of France and ended up saving about 60 euros by crashing at the apartment of a French business student in Montpellier. Not only did we get to know him and hear his story, but he did a fantastic job of showing us around the city from a local's perspective. We had a really great time! It was so cool to be reminded that there are those out there who open up their homes not because of any monetary reward, but simply because they enjoy meeting others who love traveling as much as they do.

Interests

Traveling (duh), dancing (especially salsa!), reading, writing, exploring, etc. I also love good coffee shops and good wine and good music and good people. Genuinely good people are the best.
