Présentation
À propos de moi
Hey, my name is Caitlyn and I am a working fine artist in metro Detroit, MI. I have recently graduated from college with a double bachelors in Studio Art and Art History. Painting and studying contemporary art is my life. I mostly paint in the gap between figurative and abstract, using color and texture to convey sensation. I am a huge book nerd and also love traveling and tattoos. I love new experiences and trying new things whether its food, hiking, going to an obscure art show, you know name it.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
For my love of traveling and not so great income as an undergrad art major fresh out of college! Money aside, I really enjoy getting to know people and the places I stay. As a traveler, I don't want to feel like a tourist, or an outsider, I want to get to know a place through the people I am with. and whatever advice or quirks they know about a given place. Finding those moments where you can have a truly unique experience that you may not have otherwise had means a lot to me.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Through Couchsurfing, I was able to travel through Western and Central Europe with a close friend of mine. Over the course of 3 months, we traveled from Italy to Prague, hitch hiked to Poland, stayed one night in Budapest and did not sleep until our train arrived at dawn, made our way through Croatia and then took a boat across to Southern Italy and back up to Rome. We met so many unforgettable people along the way, and made so many memories in those three months.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
We'd love to share our knowledge of art and culture with our hosts, and learn more about other cultures and ways of living in return. We will draw you pictures and provide good, easy going company :)
