ABOUT ME

I love life. I am generally a very optimistic person who loves the outdoors and going on adventures. I enjoy being around kids, playing with them and teaching them what I know and helping them grow into the person they can become.

PHILOSOPHY

God knows his plan for me. While I may be stressed from time to time I remember this, and I can get through anything with support, laughter and His help.

I am obsessed with Harry Potter (books and movies). Remember the Titans is my all-time favorite movie. Any Disney movie.
Jodi Picoult books. C.S. Lewis. Nicholas Sparks. Basically any book. I love to read and am constantly looking for a new book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working with kids, whether it be through working as a swim instructor or teaching pottery classes, leading a Vacation Bible School and Sunday school class, going on a mission trip, or nannying, has been one of the most amazing things ever. Kids are so innocent, say the funniest things, and their eagerness to learn and help others makes me happier than anything.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook. I would love to learn how to cook foods from other cultures. I would also love to learn a new language, or become more fluent in Spanish.
