HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting with new people whether it's as a surfer or just for a coffee. Traveling as a tourist is fine and dandy, but I love how being a Couchsurfer allows you to really appreciate the culture and see the city as a true local.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I first arrived as an exchange student in Lyon, I had some problems with my living situation. I moved three times and did not find a permanent place for about a month. Above any of the resources I had available, the Couchsurfing community was the most helpful and generous. People offered to host and even help me look for a room. The support of the Couchsurfing community was incredible.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies! Every year I make it my goal to watch all of the Best Picture Oscar Nominees before the Academy Awards.

I enjoy reading, but lately with my head constantly stuck in a textbook for school, it's hard to stay interested.

I've hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back in one day!
