I'm transplanted Texan who dearly loves to meet new people and live vicariously.
I have a ginormous rottweiler who loves people, but has an appalling tendency to shed.

PHILOSOPHY

Whether there's such thing as pure altruism, it's something we should all aspire to. It's where I've found the most reward and personal growth. It's where I derive my political and professional beliefs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love my job, but I'm terribly disappointed in how it insulates me and keeps me out of touch with the big wide world.
I'm hoping that CS2 will bring me back in touch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to the couch surfing project, but have family scattered across the world. I suppose we've had our own private couch surfing project.
It's always fun to live as others live in their own worlds.

Books, running, working, being in the water, pretending I know how to ride a bike.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read nonfiction books to educate myself, but I read fiction to nurture my soul. Unless work interferes, I read 6-8 books a week.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mist rolling off the lake at 7AM after a six mile trail run.
