About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Overthrow Donald Trump.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Canada, raised in LA, and I've been traveling for the last five years,
mostly in Europe, North and South America, but I've spent some time living in Cambodia, India and Morocco as well. I used to be a chef, but for the last couple years I've made my living as a writer, and these days I'm based out of Paris, but I'm hardly ever there.

I love writing, having crazy adventures , eating dope food and meeting dope people. I mean, that's really the whole point of being alive, as I see it.

PHILOSOPHY

Try everything twice

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing and hosting

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just been super lucky, I've got tons of cool people all over the world, some of whom are now my closest friends. I currently live with someone I met couchsurfing two years ago, and work with another. Couchsurfing is the best, basically.

Interests

Art, people, adventure.

I also like food.

Music, Movies, and Books

If I tried to make a list I'd drive myself insane, but off the top of my head:
Talking Heads, Led Zeppelin, Howlin Wolf, Nas, Bob Dylan.
Amores Perros, Children of Men, Reservoir Dogs, In The Loop, The Life Aquatic
Cormac McCarthy, Zadie Smith, Toni Morrison, Junot Diaz, Etgar Keret, William Faulkner

And the list goes on

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once ran a small beachfront restaurant on an island off the coast of Cambodia. It burnt to the ground, but I swear that had nothing to do with me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always down to teach whatever I can, usually in the form of storytelling and/or cooking. I wanna learn whatever the people I meet have to teach. And whatever I've got, I'll share it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good food, good company, and a lifetime of gratitude.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, England, Greece, India, Israel, Jordan, Mexico, Morocco, Panama, Peru, Scotland, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In
