ABOUT ME
I am a Designer from Bogota, Colombia.
I lived in Eindhoven (NL), where I followed a master course on Social Design. After lived in Rotterdam for 7 months, working on a community-based project and recently moved in Belgium (lived 10 months in Hasselt and now in Brussels), to start working in a research project and follow a PhD.
PHILOSOPHY
Choose life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Until now I have only surfed in peoples' houses in Brussels, Athens and Istanbul, where I had the best time, for it allowed me to dive into the city and its underlying life.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hitch-hicking in Argentina led me to have a nice view of the country, as well as staying at the houses of many people that picked me up… Couch-surfed in Brussels, Athens and Istanbul, where had the best experience that I could ask for.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy very much folk music from different parts of the world, as well as classical rock, though my musical passion would be Salsa music and traditional Colombian and Latin American music.
I enjoy reading literature more than anything elseâ¦
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On my last 'scuba-diving' course (Advanced) in Cartagena (Colombia), I did night diving. When we went to the open water to start, there was a heavy storm, yet we still started the immersion. After 30 minutes of an absolutely amazing experience, we were going back up with our lights out moving the plankton when, suddenly, we came back to the surface to discover with the greatest joy that the storm was over and I saw the clearest night sky that I have seen on my life…
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't consider myself expert at almost nothing, but I have a fairly decent general knowledge. I like speaking about politics, geography, art, design, literature…
-
I want to learn about local crafting techniques, local traditions, music, food and other elements that represent local cultures in different parts of the world.
