After I graduate in May 2019, I'm planning a four month trip through Europe.

I have a passion for world travel. I love learning about other cultures and reading is one of my favorite pastimes.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Classical literature is really where it's at for me. Shakespeare and Milton are huge influences in my work. I love some Russian classics, too. Tolstoy's Anna Karenina is a masterpiece. Let's not forget Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky. Princes of the craft! Herman Melville's classic The White Whale, commonly called Moby Dick, is a work of narrative genius. The works of Victor Hugo are another inspiration. Particularly of personal significance to me, The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

I can talk about film, too. From the Coen brothers to Kubrick to Hitchcock to Spielberg and many many more.

I love a good natured philosophical debate. Especially if a story is involved.

I love love events. I love sitting quietly in the corner writing and I love sitting in the thick of things chatting, too.

I relate well to people. Genuinely, I'm a guy who gives a damn about people. I heed wisdom and disdain folly.

A buddy and I once drove all night through Utah and Nevada to get to Anaheim, where we then spent that whole day interacting with people at a conference.
