Hey! I'm an Alaskan living in Germany (German girlfriend) looking to travel around Europe while documenting it for a social media series I'm putting together. I lived in Chile for 2 years so I'm fluent in Spanish and I'm working on my German, but it's still pretty bad! Just looking to connect with new people and make new friends here in Europe while I'm traveling around :).

My passion is making videos and it's what I do for work as well. 99% of the time I'm traveling with my drone as well - don't be shy to ask for photos if you'd like!

I've been documenting the majority of my life over the last year or two so if you take a look at either my Facebook or Instagram (Polar Cub Media - @akpolarcub) you can get a pretty good feel for who I am and what I'm about :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm planning on doing a lot of traveling around Europe over the coming months and I'd really like to meet as many people as I can along the way. Honestly I don't know how I haven't been a member of the site already - I always used my girlfriends account with her when I was living in Chile so I never got around to it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm..it's probably between living on 3 continents within the last year or finishing one of those Big Burger and Fries Challenges that gets your photo on the wall. It was a proud moment.

I'm an open book as far as all the knowledge I've accumulated about Social Media (specifically Instagram and Facebook), Website Design, Video/Photo Content Creation, drones, how to get freelance work, etc. I love talking about it, and I love teaching what I know to people who want to know more!

What I Can Share with Hosts

When I'm traveling I'll always be lugging around all my camera equipment - so if you want some nice edited photos of your home or work (depending on your location and the weather with the drone) - I'm always happy to help.
