Soy el tipo de persona que disfruta viajar y conocer gente nueva, siempre abrazando cada lugar con los brazos abiertos. De hecho, me gusta sentirme local en cada sitio al que voy, adaptándome a las costumbres y viviendo como si fuera parte del entorno. Mi aventura comenzó en 2016, cuando tomé la decisión de explorar el mundo y sumergirme en las historias de personas y lugares en otros países. Soy originario de Cartago, una ciudad de la Gran Área Metropolitana, aunque pequeña, al oeste de San José en Costa Rica, América Central.

Me gusta mantenerme activo, ya sea entrenando en el gimnasio o lanzándome a actividades poco comunes que me retan. Me encanta aprender cosas nuevas y romper con la rutina. Aunque definitivamente soy amante de la playa y la montaña, el senderismo es mucho más que un pasatiempo para mí, es una forma de conectar con la naturaleza. Pero mis intereses no se limitan solo al deporte. También me apasionan temas como la política, la evaluación de proyectos y la economía en mi vida profesional. Siempre estoy buscando nuevas formas de ver el mundo y ampliando mi comprensión de las distintas realidades que existen.

Sobre todo, valoro las conexiones humanas auténticas, y siempre estoy buscando personas con mentalidad abierta que quieran compartir ideas, culturas y vivencias. About me

I’m the kind of person who loves to travel and meet new people, always embracing each place with open arms. In fact, I like to feel like a local wherever I go, adapting to the customs and living as if I were part of the environment. My adventure began in 2016, when I decided to explore the world and immerse myself in the stories of people and places in other countries. I’m originally from Cartago, a small city in the Greater Metropolitan Area, just west of San José in Costa Rica, Central America.

I enjoy staying active, whether it’s working out at the gym or diving into uncommon activities that challenge me. I love learning new things and breaking away from routine. Although I’m definitely a fan of both the beach and the mountains, hiking is more than just a hobby for me – it’s a way to connect with nature. But my interests don’t stop at sports. I’m also passionate about politics, project evaluation, and economics in my professional life. I’m always looking for new ways to see the world and expand my understanding of the diverse realities out there.

Llevo un tiempo en Couchsurfing, y me parece una excelente forma de conocer gente de diferentes lugares y compartir buenas historias. Estoy aquí para explorar nuevas culturas, aprender de otros y hacer que mis viajes sean más interesantes y accesibles. Me encanta hacer planes y descubrir nuevas ciudades, ya sea a través de actividades locales, buena comida o explorando lugares secretos con nuevos amigos.

I’ve been using Couchsurfing for a while, and it’s a great way to meet people from different places and share good stories. I’m here to explore new cultures, learn from others, and make my travels more interesting and affordable. I enjoy making plans and discovering new cities, whether it’s through local activities, good food, or just exploring hidden spots with new friends.

Lecturas: Me gustan una mezcla de economía y noticias políticas. Hay algo en la forma en que una buena lectura puede cambiar tu perspectiva o desafiar tus ideas.
Películas: Algunas de mis favoritas son Pearl Harbor, El Efecto Mariposa, Camino a Marte y la saga de Harry Potter. No tengo un género favorito, pero me gustan las historias con un fuerte sentido social y quizás un toque de fantasía.
Música: Soy fan de los años 80, pero también disfruto de algunos ritmos latinos.

Reads: I’m into a mix of economics and political news. There’s something about the way a good reading can shift your perspective or challenge your ideas.
Movies: Some of my favorites include Pearl Harbor, The Butterfly Effect, Camino a Marte, and the Harry Potter saga. I don’t have a favorite genre, but I do enjoy stories with a strong social message and perhaps a touch of fantasy.
