I traveled quite a bit when I was younger and still take every opportunity to go see something new. I travel to experience other cultures, and to get out of my "comfort zone", I could never understand those who travel and want/expect to have the same comforts of their own home. Why did you bother leaving home then? As for me, I want to see something unique and new.

I was a professional chef for most of my adult life, including top hotels in the world, but love to get outdoors at every opportunity!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had the opportunity to traverse the ATM Cave in Belize. Also known as the Cave of the Crystal Maiden. Swimming into the mouth of a cave, hiking a subterranean river, climbing a limestone cliff to find the crystallized remains of a 14 year old girl brought into the cave to be a human sacrifice. Pretty amazing experience.
