My name is Caleb Zeff,
I am 22 years old and have recently finished my service as an paratrooper in the special recon team in the Israeli army.
I live in Ra'anana Israel with my family and am bartending and waitering to make some cash before my big trip around the world.
I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and shortly after I was born my whole family moved to Sydney Australia where i grew up and had my childhood. When I was 12 years old it was decided that we are moving to Israel and I have been here ever since.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because a friend of mine told me about the app and i was immediately interested in the idea. The thought of meeting new people and joining a traveling community seems like the thing that i have been searching for. I would like to use the app to give people the opportunity to see my country and to allow me to view others with a broader view.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did 3 years of army service which was 1 year 2 months of training.
After completing all my training i was recruited into a combat trainer for up and coming soldiers and continued my service with my squad for another year and a half as a combat soldier.

I think i have a lot to teach and explain about Israeli culture and Jewish heritage.
I would love to hear about other culture and other people stories.
