About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Eat everything I can find, see the most beautiful things, make new friends.

ABOUT ME

I'm a doctor in residency in the US, training to be a neurologist! I think brains are just the neatest things on earth. As far as travel, I've explored many spectacular countries so far and am looking to see even more. My first goal in pretty much any new city is eating and drinking everything I can find, and I love making new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been on the receiving end of surfing and have had nothing but incredible experiences! I can't wait to have more, to share stories, and to make this big world a little smaller.

Interests

Doing things I've never done before. Doing things that are arguably very stupid, but that would make great stories. Food. Cooking, eating things I'd never thought you could even eat, experiencing flavor.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: The Children's Hospital, by Chris Adrian. Cormac McCarthy. Redwall was the series of my childhood.

Music: Frightened Rabbit, Kendrick Lamar, Darlingside, Birdtalker....

Movies: Inglourious Basterds, Tampopo, Shaun of the Dead

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam in Mosquito Bay -- bioluminescent waters off the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico. I went at night with a group of friends, and it was without a doubt the most magical thing I have ever seen: since the little organisms that glow are motion-activated, you could move your hand and see a fantastic blue light explode around it. It was like having magic powers in the real world.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking, neuroscience, mixing drinks, languages. And I'm always always happy to learn new skills.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom
