ABOUT ME

I was raised in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Lived all over the United States, finally landing in California to finish my degree in Philosophy of Religion. Then I moved to São Paulo to marry the woman of my dreams. Happily married, I now want to take my beautiful wife on OUR next adventures traveling the world together and meeting great people, sharing great experiences!

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life for the sake of truth and the advancement of truth in the world. I live as a philosopher in love with art, and can never get enough.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not completely connected to Couchsurfing, I have spent countless days sleeping on friends couches, or on the side of the road, even in the streets of Los Angeles. I love meeting and getting to know complete strangers and sharing moments of growth in knowledge and truth. I hiked from Mexico to Oregon with a couple friends and learned what it really meant to love and trust people who would let you sleep on their floor, or a tent in their backyard.

Interests

Music, art, and filmmaking. There really isnt anything else that keeps me going. My wife is my inspiration for the art I seem to throw out at randoms points in my life. I run my own film and video production company out of North Carolina which takes me on many interesting trips around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Shawshank Redemption would have to be my favorite film, some of my favorite bands include Bon Iver, The Welcome Wagon, OCMS, Tallest Man on Earth. My favorite books would be anything by Dostoevsky, Francis Schaeffer, Thomas Aquinas, Anselm...and countless others...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Inca Trail for 2 weeks, The Pacific Crest Trail untill I broke my kneecap in northern California, paid for my hostel in San Francisco by playing music in the streets, visited the rainforest in Bolivia for 10 days, slept on the streets of Los Angeles for months, sat across the table from multimillionaires while working as a videographer for a major company.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share, and help someone perhaps young philosophically to develop better their thought patterns and search for truth. I hope to learn simple things in life, like to smile and laugh even when there is nothing to laugh about. I hope to learn and to share those moments with anyone.
