ABOUT ME

Okay. I am seriously so swamped with preparing exams, marking homework, creating worksheets, previewing mpegs, and designing my blog that I simply can't say enough. But quickly: My fiancee, Tasha, and I have been living in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria having completed 6 months of our two year contract with the American School of Las Palmas. We are in our early thirties and are simply ecstatic about being this close to Europe for the first time. We want to explore as much of this part of the world while we can.

Our plan is to travel through Itlay, Croatia, and Greece spending a couple weeks in each country.

We would love to have the odd couch to crash on and would be up for a late night dance challenge, we're on holidays!!

Tasha says, "We like meeting new people and hate being caught in lame tourist traps."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just beginning to participate in the CS2 Project. We are basically surfers at the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hoping for an excellent one through Europe this summer.

I was originally a ski racer. And of course there was always soccer in the summers. Then I went to university and started enjoying ultimate frisbee, besides racing in the cold winters of Montreal. A few years back I began playing ice hockey and golf, both of which are super addicting.

Here is Gran Canaria I train on a ultimate team a mere 2 nights a week...fun and relaxed.

Tasha loves the gym activities. She also loves the beach. Sunny skies are a rare comodity in good old Nelson, B.C.

Of course, Johnny Depp is mostly rad. Love Steve Buscemi and all his wacky roles. Listen to Big Beats, and everything under the sun. Love it all: from Brazil bass tones to Moroccan hand drums. Not reading as much as I should. A little Spanish, too much facebook, and the odd football match online.

Went to University in Montreal, Canada.

Lived in Dasa Saham, Indonesia.

Lived in china for 4 years, loved it.

Made it to the Full Moon Party in Thailand two years in a row...totally lame party mind you.

Made the pilgrimage to Shambhala five years in a row.

Tasha caught a wild gopher with her bare hands.

Met Tasha and fell truly in love.

I fed a live squirrel when I was 7.
