ABOUT ME

I graduated last year after studying comparative literature and economics in NYC. Since then I’ve been bartending in Boston while working on an independent film project and learning about wine on the side.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience with couchsurfing was when I met up with Blake Canning, a friendly, well-travelled, and fun Canadian guy for an evening of photography in Paris. That's when I realized that couchsurfing was pretty cool, and so I used it later that year while travelling around southern France and then again a couple years later in Tunis; met some amazing hosts!

Interests

I hate writing this sort of thing, partly because I have no idea how to define my ‘interests,’ but here goes. I love the arts, especially cinema - I’ve been working on a couple film projects of my own, and I’ve worked in film festivals as well. I like my job as a bartender and I’m always eager to learn more about cocktails, wine, and beer. I enjoy a lazy Sunday lounging with a good book recovering from long hours of partying the night before, but I’m equally happy to spend the weekend trekking in the mountains or checking out a new hip hop group.
