About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Visit 30 makerspaces across the Eastern US!
ABOUT ME
I am an electrical engineering student at the University of Louisville. But that makes me sound a lot more boring than I actually am. Some things I'm currently in to: makerspaces, film, entrepreneurship, and college basketball - okay, those might sound boring to you, too. I love a good conversation (especially over a beer!), but I'm also capable of maintaining un-awkward silences if talking isn't your thing.
I try to be as respectful a guest as possible. I'm friendly, clean, and a non-smoker. I've been a host once and have been hosted once (so far!), and both experiences were great. I can't wait to meet more awesome surfers!
PHILOSOPHY
I haven't encountered a rule that solves all the problems of life. Being kind and taking care of yourself are two good things to strive for, I think.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This summer, I'm travelling around the Eastern US, visiting and studying organizations called makerspaces. They are sort of like a non-profit gym, but instead of having weight machines and exercise classes, they have laser cutters, wood shops, 3D printers, etc. and classes on how to use them.
I'm on CS in general because I think meeting new people is fun and paying for hotels is dumb.
Interests
