ABOUT ME

I usually describe myself as a "Benevolent Misanthrope." Despite my searing hatred and distrust for humanity and attempts to model my life off Bernard Black, I am actually quite amicable and fair in the treatment of people. And although I may seem a bit standoffish, I'm actually very open and pretty easy to talk to.

I have a tendency to be recognised around downtown Lawrence as "that guy who works at the library." That's what I get for working at a place near all the bars I frequent as soon as my shift ends. But, you know, c'est la vie and all that.

And tea. I drink a lot of it. A lot.

Did you leave some raw hamburger out overnight and draw in a colony of pesky fruit flies? Excellent solution: Put out a glass of wine (or vinegar...I just use unfinished glasses of wine), put a bit of dish soap in it, and leave that out for about a day. The result? Fruit fly genocide!
