I am 27 years old and live in Calgary, AB, Canada. I've been here my entire life and figure it's time to see something new. I am venturing out to spend 3 months in Europe and 2-3 months in Asia. I hope to continue with these adventures after this first backpacking trip concludes.

I did the Couchsurfing thing once. 3 years ago I was in Orlando, Florida with my ex-gf at the time and we met a guy who showed us the non-tourist part of Orlando. I loved it. I loved seeing what the tourists don't get to see. We also ate some AMAZING tacos which we wouldn't have found without this guy. I love good, local cuisine. I want to meet the locals and experience all things local, especially the food.
