CURRENT MISSION

I want to experience and learn as much as I can, I want to know people from all over the world and be able to live in their culture.

ABOUT ME

I have a desire to reach as many people as possible, learn everything I can, and to have as much fun as I can along the way.

I am a cheerleader at CMU, which is where I'm going to get my nursing degree. I eventually want to be a chiropractor or a nurse anesthetist. I love to help people. I also love animals a lot. I have one dog, Molly Mae my 4 lb poodle, and my calico cat, Bubbles. I have made a lot of mistakes in my life. I am not perfect, but then again I wouldn't want to be. How would I ever learn anything that way? Despite everything that happens in life I am still a firm believe that people in general are good. I am, obviously very naive. I don't like it when people take advantage of other people though. In fact that is one of the few things people could do to make me mad. I don't get mad very easily. In fact I'm probably the most passive person you will ever meet. I love being outdoors and spend most of summer outside. I like traveling a lot too. I've been to 47 states, Canada and the Caribbean. I want to travel more though. There is so much I want to see and do that there never seems to be enough time for everything. I believe in God. I believe he has a plan for me that I do not know yet, and although I am very unpatient, I try to trust Him. Even though that can be very confusing sometimes. I also believe God works wonders through people. Maricles surround us daily.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am not able to host because I have two roommates who are not as open to having people in their home, but as soon as I move I would love to host people even though there's not much to see, just another college town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Chicago one night and I thought it was an amazing experience! I also ended up spending my whole winter break in Chicago and cannot say enough wonderful things about all the other couchsurfers there that I met. I have started to meet people in Columbia through CS and hope to continue to do so.

I've watched fireworks go off of Navy Pier in Chicago while at the top of the ferris wheel with someone I love.

I would really like to learn how to salsa dance and play the piano! Kind of random I know. ;-) The only thing I have to offer is to show someone a somewhat rural community and what it's like going to a small college where everybody holds the door for you and says hi.
