I recently dropped out of college, cut down on what I own, and moved the rest into storage. I am in the midst of my first solo trip abroad, spending the first half of my time in Southeast Asia and now traveling through Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have done both couch surfing as well as staying in hostels. Couch surfing gives you a much better insight on a country than staying in hostels. You are learning from actual locals, or just people who have been in that country for a long period of time. When you are staying in a hostel, you only learn as much as what the other travelers know.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hm.. I think leaving my life in the states to travel through 20 different countries within four and a half months qualifies itself as being a pretty amazing thing.
