About Me

I am a Cali girl at heart, but I'm a true wanderluster. I love to try new things and live in the moment. I think of myself as an energetic and carefree girl and love to be surrounded by people who are open-minded, who love to discover things, who can help ME discover something, can make me laugh, and who doesn't take life way too seriously. I like to force myself outside of my comfort zone because I truely believe that's the only way one can grow.

My first love is writing and my second is travel. I can never have too much of either of those in my life, it's what makes me feel alive and keeps me motivated. People say it's easy to talk to me, but I just think I sit and listen for a change, instead of "waiting for my turn to speak."

I love to go out and have a beer or two, wine if I'm feeling fancy. But on rainy days I'm guilty for wanting to stay in, drink a cup of chai tea and curl up on a couch and read a good book...or have an interesting conversation with a friend, where in the end of the night we can laugh at our physcobabble bullshit or ask ourselfs how we ended up in such a heated debate about religion, politics, or whether the world will ever end. Yeah. That's me in a nutshell. Oh. And I love coconut icecream.

PHILOSOPHY

>Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you really love.

>Well behaved women rarely make history.

>If it's not impossible, it's not worth doing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed up for this a long time ago and I'm just now coming back on. I'm new at this, but I hope to meet some pretty chill people on my next adventures! People win my heart every single time. That's probably why I'm a bit obessed with "Humans of New York". My eye is on San Francisco!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting you.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn how to play the guitar. I want people to share with me their most favorite moments in life, their worst moment in life.I want to learn how to fly an airplane. I need to practice playing chess and poker more. I want to learn and listen to different opinions about corrupt governments, stereotypes, sex trafficking, training of child soldiers, world hunger, animal extinction, global warming, and women oppression. Also, I never killed Koopa on old school Nintendo. That'd be pretty cool if you can teach me that.

I can teach you photography! I can teach you a little tagalog(filipino language) because I am half filipino. I can teach you how to cook the best pasta in the world. I can give you the 101 basics of Journalism. I can give you THE best advice if you are ever planning to visit New York. I can share with you my thoughts on society and the world. I can teach you how to rub your tummy and pat your head at the same time...then reverse.

What I Can Share with Hosts
