Hi!
This is a joint profile for two friends, Calla and India, because we spent out gap year in 2015 travelling through Europe together - however now India lives in England and Calla in Australia, so I hope this isn't too confusing if you receive a request from just one of us!

We are both adventurous and determined to discover other cultures and ways of life and meet amazing people. We don't want to spend our time while travelling seeing nothing but monuments and tourist attractions! We love meeting crazy, inspiring, interesting people, and have found that everyone has incredible and diverse stories to tell - couch surfing makes you feel very privileged to meet these people and experience the generosity and kindness of people.

We have both grown up in the country in Australia, and we're not afraid of hard work or a bit of dirt, if you want a hand with anything while we're staying with you. :)
We both speak Italian (as well as English of course!), India also speaks Spanish and basic French, and Calla is learning Spanish too

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

As well as meeting people, exchanging experiences and hospitality, getting to know a place from the inside out and having a great time with you, we're hoping to improve our language skills as we travel. So we see Couchsurfing as a way to meet people and experience places, hear the language... we could help you out with your English too if you want! :)

兴趣

We love travelling, learning about history and culture, learning languages, drawing, listening to music ( we have some pretty eclectic tastes when it comes to music), doing outdoorsy things like walks and bike rides and having fun!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We caught a 17 hour overnight bus from Albania to Istanbul and realised some time during the early hours of the morning that the people on the bus were smuggling a large amount of Whiskey across the border between Greece and Turkey...

Cooking skills (India especially loves baking cakes!), language exchange, hospitality in return if you ever come to Australia - We live near near Byron Bay. :) We're also happy to help out with any little jobs you might want done.
Of course, most likely what we'll share most will be stories of our travels and life in Australia, and our company, in exchange for your company, your generous hospitality and stories of your life, adventures and dreams.
