ABOUT ME

That's a tough one... I suppose they'd say I'm pretty laid back, although I do work hard. I enjoy a good laugh. I'm pretty easy to get on with and enjoy meeting people. I work at an incredible shop known as Scapa Scuba / the Red Shed, the former lifeboat house in Stromness, as a dive kit technician and part time diver. Diving is pretty much my life so always happy to chat about it :)

PHILOSOPHY

Hmmmm I'm fairly chilled to when it comes to philosophy I tend to just accept life for what it is, an opportunity to experience the joys of this world.

Well as host I can only hope that I can help others to experience as much of the world as possible, and try to spread what I have learnt both travelling and hosting to those, whom I stay with.

Interests

I'm into scuba diving, motorbikes, reading (usually whilst hanging out with my cat, who is freakin' awesome, if possibly a little evil), kite surfing, hanging out with friends, studying foreign languages (currently Japanese and Korean). Truth be told anything that is a good laugh and give me an opportunity to hang out with good people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Put a book in front of me and I will read util I've finished, anything and everything, I may not enjoy it but I will at least give it a chance...
My music is a seriously eclectic mix of what ever I happen to be in the mood for from Rob zombie to Johann Strauss and even dubstep if it suites the occasion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving around in the Land Rover with friends, in the middle of the night, listening to Rob Zombie and trying to find the best place to watch the Northern Lights.

Chilling on top of the boat in the middle of summer, the sun glistening on the bay, watching the harbour and town from my private eyrie.

Generally I get on well with everyone, I love to learn aout peoples cultures and cuisines especially, and I'm always happy to have a good debate about world affairs, though I apologise if I get a bit into it :)
