(Side Note: We are currently working on building our van. So for the time being we are living in a place that would love to let others stay at. Especially other van lifers, we are always looking for advice.) Also, I can't afford to get certified currently, but I swear I'm not a creeper.

My husband, son, and I found our lives very boring and depressing. When you live paycheck to paycheck, struggling to buy a house or even rent one, you find life pointless. There was no fun in our lives. My husband was killing himself working to support us and I finally said "Let's go and travel."
We had spent the summer beforehand out and about jumping from bed to bed. It was the most fun either of us have had. Its fun to be free. So, we want that same freedom in our whole lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The hardest part about living in a van and the most anxiety inducing part for me is finding a safe place to stay. My worst fear is having the police knocking in my door at 2 am telling me to move. So, I figure if I can at least stay in someone's driveway I can be safe knowing that I'm sleeping where someone knows why I'm there and won't call the cops on me.
