About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to travel, meet new people, learn about new cultures and work towards improving the earth we live on (in my own small way! ☺)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The concept of connecting like-minded people (without money involved) and to exchange ideas, stories and culture appeals greatly to me! I once stayed with a host in Venezuela who said hosting couchsurfers was his 'window to the cultures of the world!' What an amazing thought!!
Interests
I love music...both playing and listening! Travelling in my campervan and on my motorbike!I love juggling too...its very therapeutic and fun to teach people who want to learn! 😊 I'm very passionate about education and helping children and young adults particularly who are disadvantaged. This has meant I've ended up working in some crazy places....like Colombia! As I said before I love to meet people and socialise with my friends!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I love reggae music! Kultiration, dub colossus, mo'kalamity to name a few. But really I enjoy lots of different types of music. I love world music like oumou sangare and ayub ogada, acoustic music like iron and wine and nick mulvey.....rock, folk, electro, jungle a bit of everything really!!
Films - the motorcycle diaries, into the wild....mainly I like watching documentaries about nature and ancient history.
Books - waterlogged, three cups of tea, celestine prophecy....you get the idea!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I started a volunteer project in Colombia in a small village called Minca. We taught the local children, fundraised for resources and generally became part of the very special community there. The people that came together to form the project were truly special too. The project is called 'semilla social' and is now is the hands of a couple who continue to work in the community helping the locals! Amazing children and amazing memories!
I also hired a motorbike and drove to Machu Picchu! That was fun!
