PHILOSOPHY

Growing up, I used to wish that magic was real more than anything in the world. Now that I've grown, I've learned that magic is far more practical and tangible than I ever could have imagined. We are constantly creating our own reality through our thoughts, so try to keep them positive!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a group of people through a couchsurfing event that has helped restore my faith in humanity. These were the most insightful, caring, and pleasant people I've come into contact with for a while.

Intereses

In a nutshell I am trying to have the smallest impact on our
environment with the greatest impact on my soul. I've found that the
true "real" world only exists outside of the many systems that man has
created, which seem to exist only to keep us separate from the one true
reality. That being said, I am mesmerized by beauty of all kinds and am
fascinated with large cities, art, architecture and culture, but I feel
most at peace when I am in completely unspoiled nature and try to lose
myself in the outdoors as much as possible. I have a dog with whom I
hike daily and I love taking camping trips and am a novice rock climber
and kayaker. I love yoga, meditating, reading, writing, and craft beer. My favorite author is Tom Robbins and
if you haven't read any of his books I highly recommend you do.

I'm trying to break free from the useless institutions that we're told our whole lives are the only acceptable paths, and I'd like to meet people who also feel the same way so that we can discuss solutions and share experiences. :)

Música, películas y libros

I'm not a huge movie watcher but I enjoy old movies, Wes Anderson movies (especially Moonrise Kingdom), Quentin Tarantino movies (especially Pulp Fiction), and pretty much anything silly or funny. I'm not really into dramas. I love 30 Rock.

I love classic rock, bluegrass, folk, and anything with a good beat to dance to.

Tom Robbins is by far my favorite author but I enjoy reading anything that is enlightening or eye-opening. I enjoy learning so I try to read nonfiction books about topics that interest me, mostly regarding philosophy, physics, or history.

Algo increíble que he hecho

When I was 25 I quit my job and abandoned a life of security to move to the Virgin Islands. It was the hardest thing I've ever done but looking back it was without a doubt the best thing I've ever done with my life. I learned how to free fall, how to trust the universal net, and I was rewarded in ways that I never could have dreamed of.

I am a registered and insured 200hr yoga teacher and would be happy to exchange classes and private lessons with anyone interested.
