Find out who I am, then learn to forget and simply live.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not sure why I live my life, if I knew that they I would hold the answer to thousands of years of questions about the meaning and purpose of our existence. That said, I hold firmly to the beliefs that no one religion can be better than any other. That people should run barefoot on the sand. That if you haven't seen a sunrise you're really missing out. That blood runs thicker than water, and friends are more valuable than gold. I believe that hope is our greatest gift, kindness our greatest capacity. I believe in the underdog. I believe we can have an impact. I believe that we are responsible for our actions, but that forgiveness is a must. I believe that happiness is bliss, and that to be happy you have to think about people besides yourself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I am just learning what the project is so I don't know how I can contribute besides being a surfer and couch provider--but that may change!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept in way too many airports, bus and train stations. I have also learned to loathe those benches with arms between every seat---they are most unfriendly to poor broke travelers.

I have sailed the Mississippi river working on board the most accurate replica of Columbus's Nina (The Santa Clara) still in existence today.
